My bike is in the shop so all I can do is look at everyone else's photos.

Both of these are from different parts of the Philadelphia suburbs/exurbs

View from the Oro Valley extension of the Tucson loop path. It took me a while to find this extension. The loop has a few dead ends! It’s been chilly here. I packed a fall jersey and tights on a whim and am glad I did.

A short 16 mile early winter ride with my wife on a mild day (mid forties) but with a big, cold wind, which was nasty as a headwind, but sweet as a tailwind:

Lowering skies, upper 30Fs, and windy enough that I almost was blown over by a gust. 35 miles felt like enough!

"Framing" Doug.

Years ago, I had a client who took a break between exercises. "Good time for a break," I said. "It's not a break," he said. "It's a logical interlude between sets."

You didn't dismount. You were merely overcome with the beauty of your surroundings and wanted to properly appreciate it.

Beautiful pic. That looks like it could be extra painful to take a spill there.

After yesterday's punishing gusts, a 12 mph west wind felt like a breeze today. Morning MTB ride with the group then probably my last fixie ride of 2022 down around Katama.

25 easy miles today on the Bingham, sunny, upper 30Fs, thankfully not windy for a change! Cracked the 6,000 mile barrier for the first time.

I managed to get my last ride of autumn in yesterday afternoon, some easy dirt along the Croton Reservoir.
