Both rattlesnakes and cottonmouths are north american vipers as well.

No I did not, Nagas are wise beings worthy of respek and to be left alone.

Actually yesterday I looked into this whole Pokemon thing, I still don’t get it. I was going to start a thread asking for a comparison of Pokemon Go to Strava but turns out there is a limit to even my silliness.

Awesome ride.
The new bike dosent make me want to ride. Its boring.
Now, its not at all boring to ride once you are going. Smooth and stable. Super comfortable and does really well on limestone and "b" roads where there is no traffic. First serious ride was 55 miles of mixed trails and crappy rural roads. The ride is awesome. And while its no Campy, 6800 is no slouch either.

60 km and 1025 vertical meters of Putnam County dirt. I did the Vertical Doug loop, with Sunken Mine, Indian Brook, Old Albany Post Road, East Mountain, East Hook, East Hook Cross, Millers Hill, Sagamore, and Pudding.

What's the condition of Sunken Mine Rd? I haven't been on it in quite a few years. The first time I rode it, I was on 23mm tires and was glad to get to the end!

The first 1/4 mile coming off North Shore Road is terrible with lots of loose sand and some 12" deep ruts. After the first steep bit, when you get to the trail to Canopus Hill on the left, it gets much better and stays good all the way to Dennytown. I was on Compass 32mm and they were a bit too slick. Pasela 35mm would be ideal.

Indian Brook and East Mountain are in spectacular condition. Indian Brook is a gravel superhighway and East Mountain has some fresh gravel is spots but is smooth.
