Yesterday, again in Columbia County . . .

It was another stellar weather day here in upstate New York and I enjoyed a wonderful 38+ miles on the rural roads of Columbia County with some good cycling friends and riding my 2001 Serotta friend, the Queen Bee. Incredibly, we started out at 11 with low 40's and had low 60's by the time we got done, plus this weather is forecast to continue into next week. It's a great time to pile on some more road miles!

We're getting that stellar weather here on MV as well! The beech trees start to strut their stuff now.

41 miles with my wife on a warm but super windy day in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia - we are mostly beyond peak color here and a lot of the leaves are on the ground.

76F, crazy good weather; short sleeves, shorts, in November is really nice. A little bit of Fall colors left, watched some horse jumping practice for a bit.

Lovely here too. I ran into the British Car Club and fortunately was riding my Bob Jackson, so same country of origin and similar vintage! Damn the E Type has gotta be the best looking car of all time. Turned 60 miles to break 5,000 miles for the year. What a smooth ride ol' Bob is, with brand new GP5000 32mm tires as frosting on the cake.

Love the fall colors. Something we don't get here in SoCal.

My first time on the new Cuomo bridge across the Hudson yesterday (I still want to call it the Tappan Zee). The separated bike lane is great, especially with sound deflecting glass to reduce the road noise.

Remember Remember the 5th of November!

A local promoter puts on a Guy Fawkes ride on Nov 5th, but I had other commitments yesterday so I knocked the course out today in lovely Bucks County PA. Rained most of the morning, but it was in the 70's so not that bad. Stupidly, I brought the wrong bike. Fenders would have been a godsend. Run what ya brung tho!
