I did and it was awesome! I love that race and I've done it a few times now. It's always hard and always well run. Brian does a great job. If you haven't done it I would highly recommend it for next year. 5 stages in 3 days is pretty cool.

Echo Park is LA's Brooklyn or possibly LA's Mission. Neglected by the City for a generation, its Latino immigrant majority is being displaced by those with higher SES. A 2 bedroom, 800 sq ft bungalow, in less than move in condition, will run you 1 mil plus. And then there's Highland Park. It's LA's next Echo Park.

A drug deal. 6 blocks from the Lake

They're running out of housing in Echo Park. Here's some infill next to an off ramp of one of the nation's busiest freeways. $700,000 gets you a bedroom and bathroom

Highland Park. First the pet and children boutiques, then PopPhysique; your property values just doubled.

I'm in Colorado for the next few weeks! Anyone in Summit or Arapahoe County, please feel free to get in touch as I'd love to ride with a fellow Paceliner (or several) while I'm out here -- I'm in the former during the week and the latter on weekends.

I'll also be doing Bennett-Byers-Bennett with Turin Bicycles on the 10th.

My club has a monthly social/throwback ride.

Below was last Sunday's winner in terms of being most retro:

Next up the the Jester of the Mountain Serotta.

Next up is a Davidson Impulse

This 1988 7-11 Eddy Merckx is owned by the same person who owns the Davidson. His buddy was riding the Davidson. I was told my green CSI in the picture also counts for throwback rides since it's old enough to vote.

This Fuso is more recent, but still counts in my mind as in the same spirit since it is lugged steel awesomeness.

Close but no cigar, there are a few possible answers, with one being the real issue at hand.

The shorts are smalls and are super tight fitting ones, compression fit. I feel faster, but the shammy shimmy in out of the saddle efforts is not so nice.

No pics but took quite a tumble yesterday, finger feels like vegetarian sausage about to burst its casing, but not broken. Back bruised and scratched – lesson learned - shave your back too! Good news I can still type, well kinda.
