How long until 700x20 is back in fashion? I don't have any these days, but I did back in the 80s. If I still had any they'd probably be dry rotting in my basement.

Whatever. Just ride.

Road - 19, 20, 24, 30, 32, 35... whatever. Get outside. Get some exercise. Breathe some fresh air before we completely kill the planet. ebikes are fine if you need or want one. Dad bikes rule. Skinny 70s/80s steel rules. Want carbon? Absolutely go for it.

MTB, gravel, CX - same. Just Do It.

Or swim, or hike, or play tennis, or do yoga. Walk your dog.

Move.

Funny how that works sometimes. I see a lot of cheap trek, giant, specialized bikes of that era, but every freaking cannondale is like $500+ and sells

Even the non-US ones are double what they should be.

I mean don't get me wrong, my CAAD10 is an awesome bike and my son's CAADX is also a really solid bike.

But I shouldn't be seeing 10+ year old aluminum frames selling for more than 5 year old carbon ones

Isn't this a bit odd? Wouldn't they (or whoever bought them) have been better off not liquidating the inventory they had at firesale prices than now restocking and buying all new inventory?
