Hey, I'm Kevin
Living in the small towns of Oklahoma
When there are multiple Kevin's around I go by Kj.
I'm 20 engineering student.
favorite bike my road bike I guess... the Canyons look nice.
what's in your stable?
2007 Trek madone 5.9 Discovery channel branded.
and a dirty Hybrid to get to class...
fastest speed on a road bike? where? when? 38mph Arkansas collegiate road race, a few months ago, But not fast enough overall to not get dropped.
how many miles? about 900mi or so new to actually training and thus attempting to ride more.
picture of yourself or your ride? I'm not a picture person but I'll paint one for you, I'm a 5'8" ish twig with way too hairy legs that I'm not taking the time to chop... haven't crossed that bridge yet.
what is the biggest lie you've ever told? "I'm fine / I'm good", So often life feels like its falling apart... guess that's being a university student.
and, something fun. Racing is a blast I'm just getting the hang of it.
How did you find the paceline? Reddit said there were some nice people over here.

I am Patrick.
I moved back to Vancouver about one year ago. It is a beautiful city!
Attended UBC and always wanted to live here.
I am low tech so no avatar.
Age wise, I feel like I am 40 but not so young.
Occupation last post was as Environmental Manager at Oil Sands in Alberta.
Am enjoying an early retirement and riding my bicycles a lot.
I have a Colnago Master Light, a C50, a C59, and a Homer Hilsen.
Fastest speed likely going down Mount Baker or Seymour but no speedo.
Biggest lie was that I could not answer that question...
Am enjoying travelling and living in Vancouver.
Discovered the forum through an internet search. It is a great site.

I have not bombed down Mount Baker since I was a teenager, but I remember it still!

Welcome!
Yes--good mix, no politics (except when someone gets cranky) and a huge depth of experience.

I'm an ex-Vancouverite--and miss it still...

Thank you Paredown. I have learned a lot about bicycles from this site.

I find that I made a type in my biggest lie statement... I meant to say...
Biggest lie was that I could not answer that question...

Vancouver is great but traffic is far worse than when I was at UBC. Same roads but many more people! I live downtown so mostly walk or bike.

Mount Baker was fast, no question!
