Perfect riding yesterday—beautiful weather and a completely new route through apple country, working up to a celebratory ride at end of month.

Lazy early morning ride on the ol' Peugeot. Cold out but the rising sun provided warm light. Cushy riding this morning with the wide tubulars. Even did some light gravel riding this morning and gasp, the tubulars survived, LOL!

I'm fortunate to have two of my three grown children live within a 45 minute bike ride from me (in SC). I let my grand kids know when I'm coming by and they wait on me. Best scenery anyone could ever ask for. My other grown son, his wife and grandchild #3 (I have 5 grand children) live in the Denver area. I'm going to ride by there one day... all the way from South Carolina.

Wishful thinking says my strength broke my Chorus 12s small chainring while standing on a hill. So, I have been riding my Jamie Swan (Long Island) alot this Fall which is providing some spectacular colors.
