Spectacular fall weather here the last couple of days. And we are at peak foliage.
One ride around Otsego Lake on the left:

And does anyone know what this little bugger in the center is saying about our winter?

Still very green here, but some changes in the leaf color are starting. I had a meeting end unexpectedly early today and it was the perfect excuse to grab a bike and head out the door. Weather was truly spectacular and it would have been a shame to let the day go by without pedaling a few miles.

Yes, swarms of them on the march here now.
I wasn’t sure if folks from other parts of the country would recognize them and know the old lore about winter.

45 miles with my wife on a beautiful day in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. The colors are coming along.

This little guy had his fall colors on so I gave him a lift to a safe place well off the road.

The tweaks are complete on the Kirk JKS and it's dialed in. What a smooth and comfortable ride.

The number of gravel/dirt roads north of Bozeman is huge and I find that's where I spend most of my time. The views are stunning and the wildlife sightings are great. Yesterday I saw a rattle snake, pronghorn antelope, mule deer and a big fat black bear.

I've been toying with organizing a ride out here for out of towners sometime next year. Could be fun.
