Photos from your rides.

Escaped the fires in SoCal and rode with my brothers near Winters in NorCal.

heck yea... last time I was up there visibility was less than a half mile from the forest fires last summer. The sun was deep red, and everything had a dark red hue to it. Very spooky, surreal.

plus the wind was absolutely gale force.. literally blowing people across the road in some spots

New Bike Day, Pegoretti edition

I've been lusting after a Pegoretti Marcelo for as long as I can remember. So when JLP's became available I just couldn't pass it up. FedEx showed up yesterday and after a few minor fit tweaks I got out to ride it this morning. Gotta say it's everything I was expecting. Smooth, stable, quick, and balanced. I felt at home right away and totally comfortable bombing the descents within 20 minutes of throwing a leg over.

I probably won't keep the Campy Chorus parts (sacrilege I know) as all my 700c wheels are Shimano 11 speed now. So if any one needs some very nice Carbon Chorus parts or Neutron wheels please let me know.

Maroon Bells near Aspen, CO yesterday. A nice 1800' climb over 8 miles and very few cars:

40 mile gravel ride around the local townships - Armonk, Bedford, Pound Ridge, Bedford, Yorktown, Cortland, Ossining, and Chappaqua - on a new to me Zanconato. What a beautiful day!
