not sure if it's from the same shareholder letter, but he also mentioned how a bull run is like a high tide, and how it's when the tide recedes that it becomes clear who's swimming without trunks...

And Brexit. Wow. Teresa May gave her hoarse condemnation of the failed vote. This will linger and weigh on the markets even after a no deal hard exit, extended deadlines or, unbelievable though it could happen, squashing Brexit altogether.
I heard some Brit saying this was her's and her party's goal..to make it a mess and have another popular vote referendum(after May resigns)..the 'polls'(I know, I know) say that sentiment to stay in the EU is 'about 57%..

but the one daily movement that should draw attention is the following (highlighted in blue)

it would seem to suggest that there was a lot of movement into the long term bonds, thereby driving up their prices and lowering their yields. Why there are people buying up long term bonds says a lot about the psyche of investors.

50 pts from all time high (S&P 10 pts from record high, Dow lags due to Boeing)

Boeing, talk about market swings! Long term forecast look good next twelve months but Trade War/Brexit will continue to provide volatility.
