Got stupid in Jersey yesterday, 21 miles, walked at least 2 of them. Still a great day. Started later than I had hoped, so there's still another 15 miles to explore of a route I made up.

Crater Lake 9/10/2022

No bike pics. Did not want to clean puke off to take a picture, etc.

But, interestingly, my arrival timing Friday night was thus:
As I hit the top of the crater the sun was setting. Snap.

Within minutes 180^ in the other direction the moon was cresting the other side of the crater's edge.

So within 40ish minutes, when the the moon beam hit the water....
Snap

I like the shadow on the water of the high spot of the craters edge in line with the moon...

Luckily, that red in the sunset pic [wirefires] smoke waited until most folks got done riding Sat before riding would be insane health wise. By 21:00 standing outside breathing was insane apparently. ;O

AQI was still under 100 when I stopped for the day... That's already higher than I like to breath at hilly heart rates etc... At 65 years old, I like to lengthen years left rolling rather than shorten Mother Nature's Plan for us older riders...

Day 10, went out early with temps still in the high 40's. Smoke in the air still.

Beginning of the ride:

This beauty is so smooth and so fast:
