And this too, this is my size!

I may be done playing with all these bikes though. I'm about to decide if I'm retiring earlier than planned and if I do I can't be spending money all the time on bikes. But that's more than ok to never have to work again!

those cranks are cool and i was looking into them for a while. from what i gather (no first hand experience) the earlier iteration had the issue and the later production did not. if i remember right, the 3k carbon cranks were earlier and prone to failure but the latter 12k (like yours it looks) did not have that issue.

in any case, regular inspection probably a good idea =]

The last time I had a toute Mavic velo was sooo long ago.
This one has a SR Laprade seatpost, not a big deal since the Mavic one weighs more, like the boat anchor category. Still waiting for the oddball headset tools to arrive...
86 Peugeot PX according to the catalog, they dropped the 10.
Columbus SPX...will it be as stiff as people say?

This Bianchi is coming along kicking and screaming.

Have managed my whole cycling career without a M10 tap, until now. RD hanger threads were all manner of buggered up for some reason. A little cutting oil, a little patience and we're back in business.

Try running a derailleur from the inside first next time. You'll probably be able to 'correct' the threads that way

M

edited to add: I'm in the process of regluing tubulars. First time since before the virus kerfuffle I'll be racing CX this fall
