Beautiful day in the upper 70s.

Seems I’m keeping these wheels as things didn’t shake out with the others.

Tires are growing on me as I realize how much lower psi is needed with these rims. (Currently at 16-18 and 20-22)

After an especially demanding week at work, sneaked out with my oldest (12 years old) for a great ride up the canyon. It was fun being out in the sunshine together. He's just been warming up to the idea of riding with me, and this was his longest outing to date--16 miles with three significant climbs.

(Focus on the beautiful Soma/Rivendell-built San Marcos instead of the road construction in the background--it's been such a good bike for him!)

Beautiful blue skies--love these days when the snow lingers in the mountains but the valleys and canyons are dry.

Waterfall's starting to melt.

Moshup Trail coastal heathlands

The fragile area has been described as the most important unprotected habitat in New England. Our local conservation organization, of which I am a board member, has played a critical role over the past 30 years in getting this land preserved.

I pass through this area on all of my up Island rides, but today was a guided walk there. I got a two-fer - rode to the event and back.

Above average temperatures sent us to the Mogollon Rim for the weekend. Rim Rd was closed to all traffic so I had miles of gravel and single track to myself. Didn’t see a single person except right by the entrance to rim rd.

Normally the trails are packed with hikers and the roads are very dusty with lots of street legal ATVs buzzing by. What a treat! I had to turn around after about ten miles west on Rim Rd due to snow and mud and took the rim trails single track and paved path back.

Nice pics! Curious if you are in 650b or 700c mode? Looks like 700c but maybe I’m wrong?
