E-bikes can only use pedal power, no motor assist, on the Beach bike trail.

Weather was too nice in NJ yesterday to sit behind my laptop all day, so took an impromptu day off, threw the bike in my truck and headed to the Sourlands. Glorious day.

Finally some warm(er) weather in the Northland. 53℉ felt pretty darn good.

A bit more of this and all that ice goes bye-bye...

Palomar ride

Out to CA (Spring Break trip that was long delayed due to COVID). Took the bike I stash at the in-laws up to Palomar from the Harrah's Rincon - and extended my usual up to the Observatory (which was closed) and back. Great weather with patches of snow up past Mother's on the final approach to the Observatory. Gotta say - the "off the rack" CAAD12 (Shimano 105...rim brake!) is an amazingly competent steed (albeit upgraded with my go-to GP4Ks).

Hunterdon County NJ

Beautiful day for a ride, mainly in the northern part of Hunterdon County. Many climbs available. The Woodglen general store has re-opened with new owners.
