Gorgeous day on Gibraltar Road in Santa Barbara yesterday. I took the opportunity during a drive home from San Diego to stop off and do the climb. Certainly a top three favorite of mine.

It was a really tough day! Endless wind and endless desert climbs. 06:00 to about 23:00 for my mate and I. The group rented a charter bus to take us back to Joshua Tree. ROUTE.

Nice!

I wondered if you went straight through the reserve.

Well earned beers.

Outside of Mt. Tam (sorry, it’s where I first fell in love with cycling) this is the prettiest ride I’ve ever done. Definitely lived up to the hype.

Great ride today in beautiful Sonoma County! Finally getting my legs back a bit after being off the bike for way too long.
