A little gravel ride yesterday, including Bull Run Mountain Road.

No idea why that pic is upside down, even when reversed as a file.
Apparently we were able to do the ride standing on our heads!

I use a Sony Rx1rii. And then run it through a custom filter. I have 4 filters that I use in photoshop. This filter is a bit overdone but it works for this photo. I appreciate and the compliments.

@ joosttx: So many fabulous photos, thank you for posting them. I see that the Sony you use is a very expensive camera. How do you carry/store that on a ride?

Thanks for the nice compliments. I definitely don't baby it.

It varies per bike:

1. Hardtail MTB: oveja negra chuckbuckt drink holder
2. Gravel Bike: front handlebar bag (with a custom insert)
3) FS MTB and Road Bike: on my back with an Outershell camera strap.

Just under 30 today on the Nagasawa fixed gear, which doesn't usually get out in winter. But three sunny days in a row meant the roads were completely dry, and high 30Fs meant I can wear the clipless pedal shoes instead of boots for the pinned flats on the Litespeed. Breezy loop around Katama and the grass airfield, along South Beach. Always get a workout with this bike, one gear makes me ride harder!

Leaving Death Valley

Stovepipe Wells to Rhyolite via Daylight Pass. The bottle architecture is very cool.

Wonderful Photos! Love it!

I raced a storm today--rode through rain up the canyon until the snow started falling. I love how quiet it is riding through the rain. Made it down safely.

Now the neighborhood looks like this:

I don't often take the fully-fendered BMC monstercross up and down the canyons--fascinating to feel how differently it descends then a pure road bike.

Bomber day in Hunterdon County yesterday. Temps approaching 70 and some sun was a nice break from the winter weather.
