I love your handle. Several years ago, when I lived in NJ, we would often do after-work rides around the Great Swamp in Morris County. This was a popular area for road cyclists and we would always encounter a short guy always on a celeste Bianchi with the full Bianchi kit. He seemed totally oblivious to any other riders as we frequently encountered him - a wave or 'hey' was never reciprocated. We dubbed him Gianni Bianchi. I guess he was 'training'!

Haha well i adopted this handle cuz I didn't want my ex-wife finding out where i was riding via strava and run me down... seriously.

Funny cuz people NOT waving is a huge pet peeve of mine.

I got a proper ride on my fatbike today. Couldn't be happier with it thus far!

Nice shots!
How was the traction?
Our seasonal roads froze to neck breaking conditions yesterday morning, with a little snow on top for good measure.
The woods look more like just wet snow.

Traction was excellent. My front tire slipped while riding the lower elevation early on in the ride, but it was still a little sloppy when I started. Aside from that the snow was very tacky and perfect for the rest of the ride.

I am running 4" Origin8 Devist8ers and they felt planted. The side knobs grabbed on when I felt the front tire wander a bit in the slop. I have ridden it on single track and they grip well around the berms and switchbacks on the local trails.

I am debating heading back up later today or just hitting the local seasonal roads.

My best friend recently got a Crockett, so he was finally able to join me for some CX singletrack for Black Friday. It's SO nice to be able to ride to the trails, hit some single track and ride home.
