Now I know why they had a Road Closed sign posted. Fortunately, there's still plenty of room for a bike to get by (turning around would have really sucked).

Those links seem to be dead for me, but i would love to see the photos. google tells me this is the highest paved pass in canada, which sounds pretty awesome.

I'm new here... let me try to figure it out. It is indeed the highest paved road in Canada and is only open from mid-June to mid-November, and when we rode it (late may), the road was still closed to traffic which was awesome, and we had to scramble over two rock slides and slam on the binders twice to avoid mountain goats on the road. The last 150m to the sign was under a good foot of snow... and yet it was 30C at the top.
