Photos from your rides.

Finally had a few dry days over the weekend. Shakedown rides are done. This bike is something else. Mt Hood with some fresh snow lurking back there over the trees.

First cool morning

Temperature dipped into the 30Fs overnight but no frost yet. 11 mile roundtrip to do an errand in Oak Bluffs, and I can get there partially via single track, so took the Litespeed Unicoi dropbar conversion.

Vineyard Haven harbor in the morning sun, the ferry to Woods Hole just starting out.

Two days

I got two nice rides in, which is sort of a gift here in November.
First on a road bike ride saw this little critter near our house. We admired each other for a bit, then when I got the camera out he gave me the cold shoulder:

Today I rode the gravel roads to Town Hall to vote and took the very long way home.
I stopped at one of Bumble Bee's favorite photo spots, Cranberry Bog Road.

Probably the last of the fall color here, unfortunately.

Got the winter tires on...

Exploring more of the country roads in the Eastern Townships. Some color remaining, but the cold weather is coming.

Beautiful steed! Climbing Mt. Hood: file under "never again."

Thank you...and for sure! Riding up Hood is the highway to hell! Maybe a climb from the Hood River side hitting some gravel on the way up. Never from the Portland side.

Good 'ol days of Mt. Hood Cycling Classic. Stage from Hood River up to Hoodoo. That hurt!

That’s how I did it. In the middle of Summer. 95 degree heat. The absolute worst ride of my life. Mt Hood itself is not scenic in the least. That famous restaurant on top is pretty good, but definitely not worth the climb up.

Hood River is a fantastic place, OTH. Loved the bars and microbreweries. And cycling the Old Columbia Highway was awesome.
