Been enjoying the two records Deer Tick released last month. Woke up with this one in my head. Turns out there is some minor bike content in the "video" if you can call it that.

Whitney
I am pretty out of touch with music, but I have a buddy who keeps me hooked up. He recommended "the Light upon the Lake' by Whitney.

He's come a long way since I saw him in a basement bar with a few dozen people in 2002. I reckon he weighs about half as much now. |

After watching the Vietnam War documentary, I can't get "A Whiter Shade of Pale" out of my head.
Melancholic, nostalgic, captures a sense of passage of time. |

Joss Stone. Victim of a Foolish Heart. Adele gets all the attention, but she has nothing on Joss. Ridiculous she isn't more popular.

Danny Gatton- 88 Elmira St. Mind-boggling virtuoso guitarist in a wide range of styles. Incredible harmonic, rhythmic, and melodic complexity flowing freely from this guy's mind to his hands. Take a listen to Blues Newburgh or Harlem Nocturn (on another CD) sometime...
