All things considered I am well. Still plenty of scabs and a little road rash, but the swelling is gone and I don't seem to have any significant damage to my body!

Went to Prescott AZ for two days of riding..

Day 1 was mixed pavement, gravel, single track

A 10 mile climb to start that began as pavement in the ponderosa's and finished at 7000' on gravel with the last mile exposed and narrow offering fantastic views.

Then a 3 mile kitchen sink descent. Starting on the cattle guards this descent had severe erosion that will eat wheels, extremely steep and technical sections, huge boulder drop offs, deep sand intervals, rocky surprises in smooth sections; a downhill bike would've been a blast, a gravel bike made it FUN

and then a lovely paved climb and descent to finish the day

Day 2 was all single track on mostly the 9415 trail climbing to the summit of Wolverton Mtn then wandering the trails around the mountain back to where we camped...

Mt Humphries shrouded in clouds far off in the distance..

High 80's 12% humidity.....my favorite time to be in north-central Texas. I kept looking up at the blue sky and comparing it to my Bishop.

What can I say about this bike that I haven't said already? It's pushing me to my first 1,000 mile month in at least 30 years, and even now I can hardly wait until I get to ride it tomorrow.

I'm so fortunate to own this functional piece of rolling art. Thanks again to all in this forum and across the hall that provided answers to questions and guidance in construction and components.

Had one of the wettest Monsoon Seasons on record this year. We definitely needed it. Thought it appropriate to take the Domane out in the muck....

Fun day out in Montreal, great shot across the St. Lawrence from near the new and old Champlain bridges.
