Correct. But the rotor spacing is the exact same. It's still the same centerlock style, same rotor, just different carrier. So either rotor will work for any of the H11, H12 or H13 kits/brakes.

Red?

So is this Campagnolo blue oil the right stuff or not? https://www.coloradocyclist.com/camp...rake-oil-250ml

Or should I get the Magura oil, which is supposedly the same but different colors?

Why is this complicated? Brake oil should be very straight forward.

Yes, Ekar uses red fluid in the brakes.

Any idea on part numbers or place to buy. I will need oil and bleed kit. There are 2 shops 35 miles away and neither speak Campy.

Thanks

Do you happen know where Ekar red oil can be purchased without paying crazy shipping from Germany?

What is the difference between Old Campy Fluid and new Campy Fluid other than the Color?

So Campy has a new fluid. The ACTUAL difference, I'm not sure. I've been told it's better for heat dissipation. But that doesn't make a ton of sense to me since you would figure that a road brake slow from 60mph on a constant descent would create more heat than a gravel bike at 20mph. But who knows. It's supposedly still mineral oil but just a different formula.

Here is the part number: Campagnolo LB-300XS / 8053340456787

It's only available in a 50ml bottle vs the original Royal Blood which was in 100, 250 and 1000ml bottles.

Price: $20.00

Bleed kit part number: Campagnolo DB-100 / 8050046167412

Those are the same as the H11/H12 versions. Nothing to switch out.

Price: $40.00

I have access to or have the bleed kits and fluid here. So no need to buy from Germany.

I messaged Reynolds yesterday and they said I9 already has their N3W freehub and the Reynolds freehub (to be sold separately too) should be available first week of March.

Is that Reynolds hub across the lines or did you check specifically for BlackLabel or so?

Reynolds Black Label uses the Industry Nine hub, already available in N3W, they said. The "Reynolds" hub that comes on regular and X series, will have N3W available early March, they said.

EDIT: I re-checked the message from Reynolds and I misread. They said they'd expected the I9 N3W cassette in November, not that they've had it since November. Apologies.

I checked their website and it's not showing the N3W freehub body for I9 so I called them. The guy I spoke to said they don't have it yet. I'm wondering if they don't have it for aftermarket and just for Reynolds hubs/wheels? That would seem odd but who knows.

Ekar Chainrings and Hubs

Hey guys, i just saw white ind have an n3w hub ready, I’ve been chasing chainrings for a month or more, and finally have a machinist in CA who has made various chainrings, and bits for possibly the most famous ti company on the east coast who is willing and ready to build me a custom chainring, anyone else who wants to jump in on this party should shoot me a message or reply here. Personally I’m going to go 30T for my Silk Road Mountain Race build but once he has the narrow wide specs dialed he can do most anything. I think this will really open Ekar up!

Sounds super interesting, especially as other manufacturers (Wolf Tooth, AbsoluteBlack, etc) haven't gotten there yet.

Is it a machinist who has an internet presence? How did you find them?
