Excellent sock choice indeed. Perusing their online store now.

Are those the Giro Empire? How do you like them? I've never used lace-up shoes.

Love them. Nothing but good things to say. They've proven durable and comfortable. The laces don't slip which was the only issue I could have foreseen.

Ditto, just a few miles north of you...
Hate the wind but after 2 weeks of horrible weather I had to.

Nice B!

I've said it before, but i was truly impressed with some of the vista quality you Oregonians have out there. Spectacular stuff. Where was this photo shot?

Not a riding pic, but here's one of the pics i shot while meandering around the state:

That was snapped about 15 miles west of The Dalles, day 1 of Gorge Roubaix.

The east end of the Columbia River Gorge was in absolutely stunning, rare condition this weekend.. normally a brown, rocky wasteland, it was hill after hill carpeted in deep green and wildflowers. Been really wet this year.... April showers => May flowers and all the crap

Here's the photographer's Day 1 album: http://www.hotfootphoto.com/p374068284
