Back on the trail after getting beat up by rocks a few weeks ago! The beginning of one of my favorite descents…

Lots of green in the desert after all the rains..the grass was silvery and greener than the photo shows and is normally simply not there.. I must’ve kissed or killed a hundred butterflies today.

Photos from your rides.

Those Turkeys are strutting around like Thanksgiving isn’t right around the corner.

I just got home last night from the most epic cycling week of my life. Basically a small group of friends and I rode from San Jose, through the mountains to half Moon Bay, back on trails and into southern San Francisco, through the city to Fishermans wharf, across the Golden Gate bridge and up the coast on the west side of Mount Tam, Back down through Fairfax and back to the marina at the northern base of the Golden Gate bridge. Five days, camping, 220 miles, 32,000 feet of elevation.

I plan on doing a full write up including consolidating videos and pictures into an album to share sometime this week, but here are a few pictures.

This handsome bike a 650b Bantam All-road. This was the shakedown ride for the lighting and fenders. I took delivery of the frame and fork in March of this year, and just wasn’t in much of hurry to get the fenders and lighting completed.

Explored the new neighborhood a few days ago. 29.6 miles just following all the dead end finger roads nearby. Probably not more than 6 miles away from home at any point. Almost all full shade and maybe 3 cars. Happy relaxing ride.
