Whoever the person is who snapped that pic, you owe them a beer. That’s a great shot!

Funny you mention it, I 'donated' to their creator page just yesterday. Enough for a few beers at least. Got to support the local talent! (In the hope they keep sending me these great shots.)

I thought I preferred your Firefly... until I heard your Winter spent a week in the woods, alone, fighting off bears.

Most people pay for that kind of backstory. Glad you found it.

Got to ride a friend’s Peg. It was a very nice ride. The seat stays are legit.

He has it shod with RH FMBs on Ambrosio/Record wheels. A nice setup for sure! Lots of talk about the magic ride of tubies. I've only owned a few sets of tubulars over the years. I'm one of those odd clincher dudes. These tires were quite nice. However, I'm happy to report that my RH 28 clinchers, HED rims, and latex tubes have pretty much all of the feeling of my friend's set up. Which I'm VERY happy about as I was worried I'd want to wander back into the world of tubies.

hey I borrowed one kinda like that from a pal a while back...it's funny how you have to size "up" while I have to size "down" to be able to ride it.

Is there any way this is the same bike?!? My buddy just recently bought his from ebay? Looks to be the same paint/pinstriping...although I'm not familiar with that era of Peg paint jobs.

We finally had 2 dry days in a row so I made the most of yesterday and managed a 130 mile ride. The first 2.5 hours were in the fog so I was covered in droplets. After that it was hot and humid, but I'll take it.
