There are some very fun fire road routes that get you to almost the top of Mt Vision road too. I have an excellent route that makes use of all the good stuff on that Mount. LMK.

With a few days to explore, got to see some new roads and ride some places that I otherwise would probably not have ventured.

Best ride of the trip was up Mt Vision in Pt Reyes National Seashore. It was super foggy so I didn't take many photos, but the 4 mile climb was great. The road is one lane wide all the way to the top. Thankfully, I didn't see any cars on the climb or other riders for that matter (weekday morning).

Really though, just nice to spend a few days away from town during the week when there weren't very many other visitors around.

Was just up Mount Vision last weekend! Never disappoints!

Kind of a soggy, misty day today, but a welcome relief from the recently passed heat wave. actually nice day to ride.

I had a sidewall slash and subsequently hid the bike in the woods to get my truck. Got a ride to the truck came back to get the bike and can not find it for the life of me. Spent the past 3 days looking and no luck.

I hope the Winter isn’t frightened out in the woods all alone.

Worst possible case is it was stolen. Maybe when the leaves drop or during hunting season someone will find it? Hopefully it turns up!

Oh man! So sorry to hear this! Do you think insurance would cover something like this?

I don't think so. I lost it in a state forest, but no clue how I could get my insurance to cover it! Wish I could.
