First ever ride into the "The SHED" (Frederick Watershed). Took the Warbird and got in a ton of gravel...definitely the most contiguous gravel I've seen in the county, and then hit the few trails I thought I could handle on the bike, including Three Saws. Lots of lessons learned, but the biggest was probably that Panaracer Gravel King SS's are great tires, but definitely the wrong choice for big climbs of rutted, super chunky, and loose gravel AND for a crazy fast downhill flow trail. Also start earlier next time...getting out of the woods after sunset and then having to do another 10mi home definitely isn't ideal.

The Brickyard

Mid-1800s brickyard on MV, shipped a lot of bricks to Boston. Loaded the finished bricks onto ships right at the shore.

When the dirt road points up we take it.
Today was a top 10 riding day: Cool, breezy with brilliant sunshine and no humidity.

Not super as picturesque as some of the other photos in this thread, a fun 6 km ride with my 4.5 year old. She loves bike lanes.

Also got to ride on a closed road, makes the "adventure" we go on even more special for her - total distance- 6km. Time 1.5 hrs - lots of water and snack breaks, including sitting on some rocks to "watch the world go by".
