This is sunset from Oak Mtn State Park and they're currently using it on their facebook page. It was towards the end of my ride when I went past this a few minutes before and the sun was a bit higher ... a fast mile or so to the car where my phone was, threw the bike on the rack, drove back, staged the bike, etc.--- this looks a little fuzzy due to converted to post, but the hi-res version looks amazing.

I took a trip to Buena Vista, VA last weekend to do some climbing. It was cold and icy at higher elevations but still fun.

Bumped into a bunch of scouts at the park yesterday doing some kind of ceremony, not sure... A few dressed as Indians retelling a story of "grandma, eagle, bear, buffalo, arrow of life, virtues"

Racing the rain on Sunday's ride. 52miler...the rain "won" by catching and soaking us at 49miles!

could have been whats called an "order of the arrow" tap out. i've seen some pretty impressive tap out ceremonies.

king pal, I think you are right, I heard something along those lines. I was actually pretty impressed with the young men/teenagers who did the presentation - very confident, focused, got into the character....memorized their lines very well.
