Mono-stay rear is such a great choice and looks so good. Also, team pink headset. I can’t wait for this to be in hand and built up. What kind of tire clearance will the frame/fork have?

Skinny tubes are pretty
Wife's bike getting ready for her one work trip a year to avoid the famous RI bridge fiasco. Bruce Gordon Chinook touring, SP tubing long comfy chain stays. Bike built in 1983, restored by Toby Hot tubes around 1995sh. I was just staring at those tiny tubes, they are so cool. Yes she likes that beat up old seat on this bike.

Is that a powder coat on the frame or wet paint like the fork?

Very nice, and thanks for the info. Please post some pics of that when you have it in hand and built up.

I own 2 rim brake bikes and love them both. However, there is only one of mine that I think could qualify anwhere near for the moniker "rim brake perfection"
This is my custom built True Fabrication, of which I was a partner in for 6 yrs. It's an early production build that I welded about 3/4 of it together myself. In the end, one of my partners ended up being our exclusive welder. But in the beginning we were all in there doing everything together as we worked on the craft. There is a cool story about how I had to sell it off about 10 yrs ago and then it happened to come back to me semi-recently as it's owner was downsizing into a full-time RV situation and wanted to make sure this bike found 'the right home'. It has been a pleasure getting it back and spending time on it again. Cheers, CJB These are the only decent photos I currently have. Nothing that is up close or showing much detail. |

Beautiful! Any chance the color choice was inspired by VW's Lapiz Blue Metallic for the Golf R?

I was tempted to go with a dark metallic green, but couldn't shake the idea that green == gardening equipment. |
