Thoughts and healing prayers/energy for Keith and the Arbuckle family. I know he had a pretty bad accident prior to this one and now this.

I hope to hear his recovery is full and swift in the coming weeks/months. One of the selfless moderators for years and all around good guy.

Thank you Arbuckle Family for keeping us informed. I know this is an especially challenging time for your whole family, please know that the entire paceline community is rooting for you, we got your back. Keith pal and I have known each other for more than 20 years now. We first met at one of DBRK's fingerlakes gatherings, that's where this picture was taken. Keith is an amazing athlete, he's mentally tough and resilient, and the fitness he carries from years of cycling and surfing will put him on a good recovery path. Keith is also a man of faith, and I know that's where he and his family will be drawing their strength from to help them get through this...and they will!

Keith pal, you still owe me a visit to Austin TX to come ride with me...if not, I would have to come all the way to Florida to kick your butt. Get well soon, my friend.

Having been hit by a car three times and the last being on 2017 I understand. The lsst time the paramedics found me, after the woman that hit me called 911, unconscious on the pavement with my kit shredded, helmet split in two and hemorrhaging three place in my brain. I don’t remember the accident nor do I remember the ambulance ride to the hospital or the two days in the hospital or the week after getting hit. It really messed with my memory and I still have some lingering effects. I could not drive a car or ride my bike, per doctors orders, for 90 days after. The good thing is since I don’t remember getting hit I easily returned to the bike and ride by where I was hit when the wind direction has me riding by where I was hit with zero thoughts about it.

My heart and prayers go out to Keith and his family and friends.

Keith

I appreciate all he does for this forum. The news of his accident is halting. I hope everyday there is some good news in his recovery. We pray that God's spirit bring him a measure of fortitude - emotional and physical - each day. We also pray for his family that they can find some measure of peace through all this turmoil, pain and uncertainty. They are all remembered.
