An absolute curb stomping. I was casually checking the score and by the 4th quarter was dumbfounded.

Yes, that was quite the night to day change that occurred with the most recent two games.
I hope game 7 goes to 3 overtimes. |

I watched until a few minutes into the 3rd quarter for signs of life. Horrid shooting and Nuggets were crushed in the boards. Lots of open shots missed early, esp by Booker. KAT stayed out of silly foul trouble and spent much more time in the paint at both ends.
We might get the Sunday Games 7 double dip! |

Anyone have any thoughts on the two Game Sevens?
Hard to see Denver losing at home. Not sure about NY/Indy. Dallas should wrap things up. |

Pacers and Nicks have each had a blowout. Edge to the Nicks, my heart is with the Pacers. Denver isn't the run and gun Denver of Doug Moe, but altitude is still a factor giving them an even better home court advantage on paper. But then this series starts with two Denver home losses. I think Denver wins. "To win on the road in this league, you have to beat the other team, the refs, the timekeeper, the crowd, and the guy selling popcorn" - Bobby "Slick" Leonard. |

Not surprised by the Pacers win but things took an unexpected turn last night. I got the sense all of the Nuggets were waiting for Jokic to save the day but the Minnesota defense wasn’t letting that happen.

Wow - did not expect that - blowing a 20 point lead in a game 7.

Epic collapse. Not just blowing a 20 pt lead, blowing a 20 pt lead as the defending champ.
Ant man locked down Murray in the 2nd half and they couldn’t get anything going. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m not a Minn fan, but would love to see them win it all. |

Stoked to see the Timberwolves win over on the Nuggets. Crazy game. Poor Jokic looked absolutely gassed at the end.

Nuggets had an epic loss. Jokic looked tired. Also seemed to set a LOT of moving screens that he never got called for.
I like Minny over Dallas. Doncic and Irving are brilliant offensively but lax defenders. Any team with Irving as their centerpiece seems to implode unless he’s playing with the GOAT. |

I have a hard time telling if Jokic is tired he always looks tired to me but he did seem frustrated and tentative at times. The whole team looked tentative when the defensive pressure turned up. Gordon took 5 shots the whole game and I distinctly remember him turning up an open 3 when things were tight and instead giving the ball up to Jokic. Nuggets definitely rode 5-6 guys too hard in the second half. There was definitely fatigue at the very end when there was still a glimmer of hope and KAT got the follow up dunk. He ran by Murray and KCP who were just standing there watching to get it.
I just can’t get behind Minnesota, as much as I like Anthony Edwards. I think KAT and Gobert have a lot to do with it. I’m actively following the Kyrie redemption tour (waiting for the shoe to drop tho) and pulling for the Mavs. He’s actually been playing some defense recently. |

J Brown with a huge 3 to take them to OT.
Holiday played great. |
