Mine might be the 1up USA CPR-A2000 trainer.

I hadn't used mine in a while, but wanted to do a FTP test, so pulled it out of the basement last night. Greased the balls, mounted the bike up, and it's just as smooth and quiet and perfect as it ever was. Just a great product. Light, well-engineered, user-serviceable. I know smart trainers are all the rage, and surely it didn't make sense to continue it... but boy, it is a great trainer.
Didn't realize it's discontinued. Excellent product. As you mention, mine also is infrequently used but it really is an impressive design.

Good one. Where has all the nice finishing kit gone? I'm not really interested in aero parts, but since everyone else seems to be, I expected there'd be an abundance of nice 27.2mm seatposts on ebay, but instead there's a derth.

These may not be the lightest posts, but the BEST clamp/adjustment system ever made IMHO!

Why's that? Been using them with no issue for a very long time. Love 'em, they fit, they work. And they're light (relatively speaking).

Over the years I've basically gone from Concor to Aliante. Both are similar profile. Had a very brief stint with a ti Flite back in the day, but that was not comfortable at all for me.

I've been trying to figure out a replacement to Aliante though and am kind of overwhelmed by saddle choices that might work. Even the R1 and 00 look a little different than my Aliante's (of which I've had NOS models in boxes for years). Am all ears on replacements if you can suggest.

If I ever need to find my "favorite discontinued cycling product", I just go to my local co-op, they have an endless supply of whatever I want.

I interpreted his post as facetious since he likes them too and was discouraging you from buying up the ones on eBay that he'd prefer to buy. Could be wrong, of course.
