The only downside of 4 piston brakes is the maintenance. Because of their physical design, they are slightly harder to keep aligned and clean, given the increase in ways that things can go wrong - eg a front piston becomes sticky before the rear piston.
If you know how to do routine maintenance on hydraulic brakes this a total non-issue - everything else is upside. |
