All Rene Herse tires are compatible with hookless rims. I'll ask the team to add that to the specs.

To compare it to a couple of really common tires... RH Orondo Extralight 31 - 20w rolling resistance at 'low pressure' Panaracer GK Slick 32 - 19w rolling resistance at 'low pressure' Continental GP5K 32 - 12.8w rolling resistance at 'low pressure' On a related note, it would be awesome if BRR would stop claiming 31-32mm slick tires are 'CX/Gravel'. I mean come on- these are modern width road tires. If 'CX/Gravel' started at 38mm, that'd be cooler. |

I hope you aren't trying to ride that ballast pile as 'gravel'.
![]() I actually did a test ride over a short distance on a RR track which the tracks were taken out for pending path use. With 2.1x650b it was untenable. I felt stupid for having tried, but it was a good acid test for the place 6 hours away I thought to go to near my Kids college.

Isn't there a long history of RH tires doing very poorly on the BRR tests? I think Jan has also made many statements about drum tests being irrelevant or inaccurate, possibly as a result of said poor results.

CX tires start and stop at around 33 to 34mm.

Yes, there is a max width for CX tires if ridden in UCI competition. Many local CX races don't have or don't enforce that limitation.
A slick 31 or 32mm tire will not be used for CX. Heck, a slick 35mm will not be used for CX. |

Subscribers (=insert a few coins) have a voice in choosing and voting on tires to test next. No need to wish!
