I disagree with this. Indoors, you can consistently do repeated efforts that make you cross-eyed, taste blood, and bring you to the edge of passing out without worrying that the bike will fall over, that you might t-bone a turkey or a deer, or get hit by a car. Having done hard intervals indoors and out, I am convinced that you get more bang for your training buck/riding time indoors.

Agree with this for bike fitness. Disagree for weight loss or general good health.

Can't wait to actually be able to attend a baseball game. Until then, riding the bike by the stadium on an incredibly freezing day will have to do. LGM
