Mercedes does not sell a lot of wagons but their clients who purchase E wagons are some of their wealthiest. So its a must have in the MB USA lineup.

However, realizing how small the market is in the US, Mercedes never brought over the CLS Shooting Brake Estate to the US.

I would love to see more wagons and less tall lumbering modern day minivans that will never go off road. But US consumers think bigger is safer........

The Guardian had a few nice things to say about the Buick Tour X

or rather, a clone of the Tour X, which is known across the Pond as the Vauxhall/Opel Insignia

Get one now. While supplies last you can get a good looking all-wheel-drive wagon with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION with a 6year/ 72,000-mile warranty for thousands below sticker price.

Yup, and if you are around the republic(Boulder), the local dealer looks to have over a dozen GSW's on their lot..

Just bought a 2013 CPO JSW, white, tan int, DSG (wife needs to drive it sometimes), no sunroof (worried about leaks, rattles and bike rack interference) with just 13K on the odometer. Its literally like a new car. They replaced the tires, brakes, battery, and all the filters. Paid $13.5K which seemed reasonable based on my research. Looking forward to many years and miles of driving to CX races

This was a known issue with the early 2.0TDI motors.. I'm hoping my fuel pump doesn't go out, then I'll just have to buy a Mercedes E63S AMG wagon..

2017 SportWagen TSI here. Lately, I get an intermittent wanting light on start up “transmission in emergency mode”. It goes away if I turn the engine off and restart. It’s under warranty so I’m taking it in, but anyone have experience with this issue?

I did and just got a recall about it. They replaced a switch in the shift lever.
2017 GSW 'S' 4Motion...

Car is about to go over 50k miles. Mostly highway but it has been very solid.

Earlier this year, I saw some Golf AllTrack S w/ 6-sp for under $20k. I thought that was a great deal.

Issue for me was rear seats were too tight for 3 kids. I hoped they would bring over the Passat (Alltrack), but looks like that's not happening.

Sportwagen = collector's item

in the future when there are no more wagons, will my Sportwagen be in some sort of used car demand. or just a crappy used VW?
