A beautiful day to piece together a pretty decent gravel ride on roads and levees that border local ag land.

Those groomed trails look like serious fun tho.

That eriksen is the business.

Andy, are those XC skis or tele's? Looked like xc but I can't imagine riding xc skis in the conditions of your third picture. Guessing it may have been a different setup.

Then again, I know very little about two planking. I took 10-12 lessons a few years ago and got pretty decent at it before switching to the one plank life!

Those are XC skate skis. The last pic, from yesterday, was a downhill day. Back to the skinny sticks for an XC day today.

Broadway Terrace is a little local nut-buster of a climb. It's always tough. And the views are always worth it.

Popped down to the cape for a few days this week. I’ve thrown my leg over a lot of road bikes but I keep coming back to skinny tubed steel frames with narrow tires. I went through a fit of downsizing this fall and sold my MX Leader but decided to hang onto this Merckx Corsa. The flat crown fork and internal routed brake cable just does it for me. Soaks up the pavement. It’s over 30 years old but it gets the job done.

Went on my usual West Barnstable - Osterville loop this afternoon. Lots of sunshine and little wind. I’ll take it.
