I played hooky yesterday and ended up with 91 miles. Great day on the bike. Props to the road crew who let me shoulder my bike and carry it to the other side of this as what followed were the best miles of the ride.

metric century

Most of the way through a metric today I turned 5,000 miles for 2020. That’s a lot for me, and to some extent it's thanks to COVID19 and the switch to WFH. Bright sun and mid-60Fs today, couldn't have been nicer. That Firefly - what a great bike!

Three hours in north-central Massachusetts, flirting with the NH border. For the middle 2.5 hours, three cars passed me.
