Cool. Glad you enjoyed.

JoJo plays all. He's a master.

He grows, evolves.

Google search his tribute to Buddy Rich performance. Unbelievable.

Here's a few links that I have bookmarked on youtube of his stuff.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fq86...ZuEp1M&index=3 (serious 70's fusion groove with this one)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prOtgYuLC0E
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2a712M5SJE (buddy rich tribute, a pleasure to watch, such immense respect mayer has for rich)

had to just throw this in here for good measure....

I blame Medeski, Martin, & Wood for its initial resurgance, but these guys sound like contemporaries of Wulfpeck and/or Snarky Puppy...perhaps a bit more abstract than those acts, but all coming from the same general corner of the spectrum. Me like.

Zappa on Zappa.

My favorite starts at 1:48:34 and just goes.....what guitar...wow. Then segues into Bozzio drum solo at around 2 hrs.

Great stuff.

First time I heard it I thought they were singing in Portuguese, but they are not, for those that want to sing along...

Viumbe vyote vya mungu wetu na mfalme wetu
Pazeni sauti ili nasi mwimbe
Pazeni sauti ili nasi mwimbe
Pazeni sauti
Pazeni sauti
