Those switchbacks are definitely tough, and the final piece is deceptively steep. However, the lift is not technically the top — there’s a dirt piece that goes up to “the notch”, eminently manageable on a road bike according to friends (I’ve never done it).

I much prefer the GMR/GRR climb vs Baldy Rd

Looking good, Pete! Here's a few from yesterday. Similar terrain, but a few states south

Back out in the woods this weekend. This time of year the Chanterelles start to pop up so I've been hunting them. Nothing yet.

Believe it or not there is a trail in this pic

That tape is from https://www.campandgoslow.com

Pretty sure it is coming back in stock, and in a second color tone.

If you think you might want it, the best way is to follow on Insta because it gets announced for sale at a certain date / time and all their stuff (like the coffee cup I wanted) sells out in like a half hour...

It's a cloth tape, my brother in law tapes lots of bars and he did this...he said there's not much stretch to work with, but it came out great.

It's got a decent amount of cush, and to me Ti bikes need something to dress 'em up a bit...
