Is this the place that has a multi ton slab door that is so well balanced, that you can push it open with a finger? Beautiful regardless.

I don't think so, it's a fairly recent piece. Is that door also by Lew French? Sounds amazing!

During the pandemic I’ve become a solitary cyclist except for once a week gravel rides out of Chappell Hill, Texas. We have multiple routes between Chappell Hill and our refueling stop in the small town of Industry (whose namers must have surely been thinking wishfully). Rural gravel roads allow social distancing and the weekly meetup provides necessary human connection.

If you like to ride rails to trails I cannot give enough praise to the Greenbrier River Trail in West Virginia. The section we road was from Marlinton to Cass. Absolutely beautiful and not at all crowded.

This was shakedown ride number two on this bike. I’ll soon be putting on some bigger tires to play in the dirt. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Would you recommend a specific width tire/tread? Current road bike has 30mm tires. Thanks! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

And one from Canada Day, my daughter's first ride with pedals.
Asked her if she wanted to take her bike to the dog park and she emphatically told me to put the pedals on. As soon as I unloaded the bike, she was trying to get on and pedal it. Once we were in the park, it took less than 5 minutes for her to get going. She is 3.5 yrs old, no training wheels, only a balance bike. In order for her to get the hang of pedaling she has been on the mag trainer a few times. The bike is a 16 inch spawn Yoji. She is at the very bottom end of height and inseam for it. She can stand flat footed and sit on the saddle. |
