As I was inspired by this post to check out some t-handles I came across a dual sided wiha bit driver. Spent a few minutes looking for something similar from the usual brands, but seems pretty uncommon. Which got me thinking, does a sliding t-handle bit driver exist?

Speaking of bit drivers, I recently got one of these:
https://pedros.com/collections/gener...bit-driver-hex It's a good accompaniment to an effetto mariposa guistaforza torque wrench. The gold rotating knob on the end sits comfortably in the ball of the hand and I find it easier to work with than hex keys. (I just used knob and ball in a sentence on bike tools. #lifegoals) |

Minor improvements I can think of would be indexing/markers to help with maintaining rotation of the feeler head and extension of the main arm (I ised a dry-erase marker which served well enough). |

This "solution" is better than nothing, but its not perfect at all. Way too much movement happens when you move from one side of the bars to the other. |

Set the pointer so it just barely touches at its closest travel as you rotate it. Just like when you are checking the hanger. Or am I missing something?

If the feeler is held in the same plane as the mount bolt/steerer, this is true. When the feeler is twisted away from the mount bolt/steerer plane it has to be held in the opposite, equivalent angle on each side.

Thanks. Would probably be a good idea since I've talked to a few people and I'm not the only one with this feedback. Cheers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I like the combo y drive, 1/4" socket and 4, 5, 6mm hex https://www.motionpro.com/product/08-0547 Last edited by unterhausen; 01-16-2022 at 11:08 AM. |
