They're odd folks, but interesting ones. There's a guy around here that has at least 7-8 street parked at any given time.

An MV metric

63 miles on the Casati. My time was good and goes to show that red is indeed the fastest color!

Warm and sunny and all of a sudden I wasn't the only person out on a bike Today was the first time in 2020 that someone passed me on a bike (I'm noticing - paying more attention due to COVID, obviously). This is mostly because there's often no one else out when it's not perfect weather.

Putting in extra miles this weekend as it looks like rain every day this coming week.

One of my favorite local trails. The rhododendron are blooming here in the Virgina mountains, phone pics just don't do justice to what a sight it is.

What trail is that? Pictures are good enough to let me know I should see these trails for myself!

I've got a SAAB guy in my neighborhood. He always seems to have at least three parked out front.

When I had an '84 Saab 900 the best mechanic in the area (Ithaca, NY) was an interesting guy. Before he would agree to work on your car, you would get interviewed, and if you met his requirements, he might deign to take your car, providing its history was acceptable. Quirky cars and even quirkier mechanics! Mine had something like 275k miles on the clock before it was deemed expendable.

Ithaca had a similar cult Volvo dealer, who I believe still exists. The signature car there had migrated from Saabs and Volvos to Subarus, who knows what it is now, probably Teslas or BMWs given the times.
