True. Everything I've learned about investing has been from Trading Places and Caddyshack. Could explain why early retirement has eluded me..

Looking at the repaired CLX Colnago, I wondered if the repair patch was applied to the frame's paint, instead of to bare carbon(?).

If the bike was perhaps unsafe before the repair, would the paint's adhesion be trustworthy enough to rely on?

But perhaps some sanding was done to the surface, just shy of the oddly square borders of the patch(?).

The white/black coloring of the patch area would at least make a decent paint kluge a lot simpler to get right, but the patch likely could have been cut down a bit to minimalize the visual impact, no?

I have a very similar CX-Zero, which is not the lightest but which is a very nice-handling bike.

Can you move freight in skinny jeans and stocking caps mid-summer?

I hit 57 mph on a CX-Zero on Guardsman Pass. It was soooo stable at speed. Coincidentally, I sold the frame to TPC.

Sigh…
Since we’re here in a bicycle talking-about-place, can’t we just talk about bicycles?

Apparently last quarter has been the slowest for bike sales in 5 years or something like that, so that could explain $200 off. Coincidentally I bought a bike about 6 months from their scratch and dent site. Pretty decent deal and just had to replace some spokes.

I get the concept - but what's the site?

As if I need more temptations and frivolities.
