Gulf paraffin from the grocery store plus super secret scrape-off from waxing skis including a proprietary blend of Swix universal blue and universal green. So cheap it's almost free. Seems to work really well but would I know if it didn't? Nope. Chain and bike stay clean and quiet.

I have used super secret and parafinn
Both work well, the clean advantages are worth it, I rewax every 300 miles, so a bit of a PIA, but easy to do, so clean.
I will just use parafinn when the silca stuff runs out. ZFC has value, just put 4k miles on a SRAM chain, no stretch at all Last edited by dana_e; 09-19-2024 at 05:42 PM. |
