lol it was pi - also, the ball hit his hands so he definitely had a chance for a catch

In a battle of bottom dwellers, Washington wins, 21-18, on a record breaking 7 field goals by a kicker they signed last week. Not exactly impressive.

Interesting start to season so far with several busts (too early to panic?) on predictions of high powered offenses

KC - and yes it was a legit PI call - Mahomes hasn’t looked great despite having the best set of receivers since Tyreek left

SF - laid an egg against Minnesota (!?) - I really wish they’d have been more honest about McCaffrey before I drafted him in fantasy football!

Jets - Maybe we should have just recognized they’re the Jets after all.

Detroit - pieces are pretty much the same but not clicking so far.

Houston, though, is legit.

Well I guess they were worse than I thought. How is it possible to not have a backup kicker?! Also Giants D couldn't stop Washington from scoring on a single drive !?!? Malik looked good at least.

Usually it's your other kicker, but place kickers fill in better for punters than the other way around. The Chiefs backup is actually the safety, Justin Reid and he has kicked in a game. Did pretty well, considering he didn't put any real time into getting ready.
You would not take up a roster spot to carry a 2nd kicker.

Coach gets a lot of credit in my book for taking responsibility for the clock management failure at the end of the first half.

OMG the comments above about the PI call in the KC game, the refs deserve credit when they get it right and that was incredibly obvious. I didn't see a single Cincy player object.

Even the always homer team announcers didn't complain, and if THEY don't, you know it was blatant.

Darn, just ate, completed all my work early, got ready for bed and was looking forward to watching eagles game and just discovered my cheapo cable package does not cover game tonight. If anyone has free easy way to watch game where I don’t have to get off my couch I’d love to hear it.

Update: thanks Paceline! Channel 6 just indicated they are covering the game tonight which I get it’s just not showing on my TV Guide. I’m sure the many Paceliners fighting on my behalf convinced them to cover it

@duff maybe now you regret having been able to watch it?
I happened to be watching the Peyton/Eli feed, with Matt Ryan the guest, at the time that Saquon dropped that pass and they were all gobsmacked that the Iggles chose to throw the ball. Granted, had he caught it they would likely have iced the game, but …

The pick at the end was just as bad. Throw it away, somehow get 10 yds and Elliot ties it...

D line was just awful.

Vikings Vs Texans the only game I can watch live this week.
Hope it's a good one. Losing the unbeaten teams and this game is two of them.
