Does your waxed chain shift differently than your oiled chain?

So I switched the chain from the FSA to the Shimano and shifting is now working as it should.
I'll give the FSA chain another dunk in the wax and try again some time.
The cassette is a SRAM PG-1070 11-32. Maybe SRAM and FSA don't get along? Who knows...
