I have multiple bikes with a press fit BB. None of them have any issues, but I do find threaded bottom brackets to be easier to swap out since you don't have to tap them out with a mallet and a pick.

Who would have thought that Jan Heine's steel Unbound bike would be sporting "pressed-in" bearings? https://www.renehersecycles.com/spec...xl-rene-herse/. This is something that Rene Herse apparently did with his bikes. Maybe something borrowed from his airplane and automobile production background?

One piece like BBInfinite and thread-together like Wheels Manufacturing makes worying about press fit BBs a moot point. And I'm sure those two companies are not the only ones making really good BBs.
