Wow! That is super cool. Nice ride.

I was riding my MTB once and just got up to the summit of one of our local mountains, about 3000ft or so, and this guy popped out of the woods on the trail at the top and had a little MTB with little wheels like that. I got to talking to him and he was something like 77 years old I think he said and said he only had to put a foot down once on the way up. I'm like dayum, I had to walk sections.

Anyway reminded me of that.

I have been known to show up to the ride wearing a Hello Kitty t-shirt (I own three, and once set my pr on the 4 mile climb into SNP wearing one!), but I will never put a sticker on anything I own. It's a weird sensory thing I've had since I was a kid. I'm less likely to apply a sticker than I am to race a bike, and that is very very unlikely!

Bironi, my girlfriend saw the orange/yellow/white stripes and said 'candy corn!' so maybe that's the thing they're going for? I don't mind, it gives me more options for future bar tape, saddle, spacer, and top cap colors.

Ah, who am I kidding, everything's always going to be purple.

Weisan, I'm very sorry you sold that Bianchi mini velo. Clarification: Sorry you didn't sell it to me. That is a very cool bike, I'd ride the heck out of it. 24" wheels?

Shadco, that seatpost is very inexpensive. I think it could be yours for like $20-30. Lemme know, I'll have one drop shipped to you. I think it's an Origin 8...not sure...to lazy to stand up and walk the three steps or less to the bike to check. Hey, I rode 84 miles and 7700 feet today (on the Ritchey, though; the Rufus is still tired from yesterday's ride).

I will agree these are fun. I've not ridden as much on mine...

Shameless plug, I have this exact frame built up for sale (but the non-Soma branding and EBB) https://forums.thepaceline.net/showt...70#post3421270

Earlier in the thread, someone questioned the aesthetic purpose of the orange accent on the top tube.

Answer:

To match the valves on the Tubolito TPU tubes.

Didn't weigh it before and after, but I'd reckon the bike is at least a pound lighter now, maybe more. So from ~30 to ~29 lbs.

I love this so much. If you're gonna do it, you might as well do it right.

I'm the guy from earlier in the thread.
I get two of the three colors, but why white?
Are you putting on white wall tires?
Emoji of your choice.
It is cute.
Roll on.
