This is one of 250 Stumpjumper Classics that Specialized reissued for the 25th anniversary of the Stumpjumper in 2007. Faithful reproduction including the Tange frame and a special run of original tan-wall Ground Control tires but with much nicer 2007 era components.

Woah that Stumpy is cool! Didn't know they did a limited re-issue. Here is my 1997 Rockhopper. I use it for short around town rides with the wife. It's a complete parts bin special build but does the job. It's set up 1x7, 1 1/8 sus corrected front end, that's an origin8 post with a thomson sticker.

Agreed...it's stellar. And never leaving my collection. As I recall, I picked it up as a bare frame from MTBR classifieds around '03...hope it wasn't yours!
